September is CleanUp Month

CleanUp organizations around the world have been prepping for CleanUp Month

Now is the time to consider either holding a cleanup with a partner organization, joining an existing cleanup, or just setting out on your own to cleanup.

The need is great…trash and litter is poised to enter the oceans and we need a concerted effort to solve the problem.

CleanUps will comprise about 1/3 of the solution. The other two involve better waste management and reductions in plastic waste being generated. Two groups of scientists have called for up to a billion volunteers to perform cleanups to prevent waste from entering the ocean. Be part of the largest organized cleanup ever.
